This Is My City (TIMC) is introduced in Macau the PechaKucha concept, for a discussion about the idea “Green/Grey City”, at the Albergue SCM.
PechaKucha was devised in Tokyo in February 2003 as an event for young designers to meet and show their work in public. Nowadays, it has already been held in 370 cities all around the world and the concept was expanded to several disciplines.
This model of communication lays on a quite simple idea: 20 images x 20 seconds. Each speaker has around 6 minutes and 30 seconds to introduce his subject. This format allows concision and keeps things moving at a rapid pace.
The main idea for Macau’s PechaKucha is the theme “Green/Grey City”.
