Portuguese artist Surma didn’t fly all the way to Asia to just stay in Macau. After her concert at This Is My City 2019, she went on to perform in Guangzhou, at the Strawberry Music Festival. In Guangzhou, Surma also recorded some of her original tracks with the collaboration of the Chinese band, Wu Tiao Ren – who were also part of this year’s line-up of our festival. On their tour through Portugal, the band from Haifeng rearranged some of their originals with sounds by Surma. This time in Guangdong, it’s Surma’s songs that are getting a Wu Tiao Ren touch.
