Russian-born Macau/Hong Kong-based director. He is a graduate of NYU Tisch School of The Arts with an MFA in Film Production. Maxim’s latest narrative short film 'Tricycle Thief' World Premiered at Toronto International Film Festival, won the 2015 Kodak Gold Award for best short film and had played at numerous festivals worldwide. He's now finishing his thesis short film ‘Strangers on a Boat’.
